The AT4 paddle by Adventure Technology is the most durable and highest performing paddle I have taken a stroke with. The AT4 is flutter free and the blade shape creates precise and powerful strokes. The bent shaft and offset of the blades are ergonomic and help prevent fatigue, soar wrists and joints even after hours of big water, steep creeking, or after a dreaded long and flat paddle out. The blades are bomber and can take the beating of training on your local steep creek, nor will you worry about breaking your AT4 when you are in a deep gorge in some remote corner of the world. The AT4 is slightly heavier than a playboater paddle, but the increased strength is worth the few extra ounces. I use my AT4 for everything from an afternoon play sessions to multi-day expeditions in South America.
