I prefer Immersion Research apparel and and spray skirts when kayaking in any conditions. The custom-made dry decks are the driest and most comfortable option for any paddling condition. By combining the custom-made dry decks with any IR rash guard, paddling pants and/or layering system you can be comfortable on anything from a December creek boating mission in the Pacific Northwest to the tropical jungles of South America. The custom-made dry deck is the lightest and driest option for traveling and general paddling, and the IR sprayskirts and drytops work well when worn together. I often wear just my rash guard and life jacket when paddling in the tropics and carry my custom-made dry deck for when I head for the higher and colder mountains of the tropics or when I am boating in the Pacific Northwest. IR makes the apparel and spray skirts that I use wherever my kayak takes me.
